Visit Artist Sharron Russell's Studio on Swinton Estate

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside on the renowned Swinton Estate, Artist Sharron Russell welcomes visitors to her creative studio by appointment.

Whether you're an art lover, looking for inspiration for your home, or interested in commissioning a unique piece of artwork, a visit to Sharron's studio offers a wonderful opportunity to step behind the scenes and discover the world behind her much loved collections.

Sharron works from two studios at her home. Her main painting studio overlooks the garden, providing a peaceful setting where she creates her original artwork and draws inspiration from the nature and wildlife surrounding her. Visitors can often gain an insight into her creative process and see works in progress.

Alongside the painting studio is a charming shepherd's hut, handcrafted by her husband, which serves as a welcoming space to showcase her artwork collection. Here, visitors can browse original paintings, discuss bespoke commissions, explore ideas for kitchen splashbacks and home interiors, or simply enjoy a friendly chat about art and creativity.

The shepherd's hut is also home to a variety of workshops throughout the year, offering visitors the chance to get creative and learn new skills in a relaxed countryside setting.
